Welcome. I have a passion for helping people grow and navigate the many challenges we all encounter in life. I received my M.S. in Clinical Psychology at Notre Dame de Namur University. For the last five years I have provided counseling to diverse populations and taught group co-parenting classes. In private practice, I have worked extensively with the impact of ADHD in adolescents, adults, couples and families. In working with couples, I believe that life-stressors, moving past the “honeymoon phase”, and unhealthy communication patterns can become an ongoing source of pain and frustration. The specific traits of ADHD can, over time, underscore and perpetuate “cycles of destruction” in the relationship dynamic. By developing new ways to communicate, partners can begin to enjoy a more fulfilling, meaningful, and rewarding relationship. I am experienced in identifying and helping adults and adolescents with ADHD. I use practical strategies to help individuals improve in self-management. I have formal training in mediation through the County of Santa Clara Dispute Resolution Program, and can help people and parties in conflict come to successful agreement and resolution.
